”La Caillotière holds the memories of a lifetime for my family and me. This beautiful place is romantic and comfortable, awe inspiring and historical. We loved horseback riding at the local stables…we enjoyed marvellous French meals. There were plenty of wonderful quiet places to settle in with a book or a sketchpad under a tree in the yard or in one of the large windows overlooking the pond. There were many hours spent exploring this exquisite place and its surrounding grounds. We played table tennis and tennis, visited markets, castles, and museums. We remember day trips to Mont St. Michel, Chenonceau, Angers, and Chambord. We hope to return again and again!”

‘The house completely lived up to our very high expectations, picture perfect which was completed with the cute horse and foal as we were driving up to the chateau. All rooms are truly beautifully decorated and furnished, and our stay was a very unique and comfortable experience. We had fun with the horses, lounged at the very pretty pool area, and thoroughly enjoyed the vegetable garden and feeding the chicken and other birds. Never found the time to play tennis; next time… Within a couple of hours after arriving we felt completely at home which is probably the biggest compliment I can think of.

Our special farewell dinner in the stately dining room set with the fantastic plates was a marvelous end to an enchanted week!’
