Salon Rouge

On the ground floor, the entrance hall opens onto the “Salon Rouge”. It is a very nice room to relax in, with French windows on both sides of the room and a direct access to the terrace. Small groups of armchairs here and there offer places to read, listen to music or play card-games.

Grand Salon

The “Grand Salon” is a majestic reception room, with wood panelling, XVIth century tapestries from the famous Gobelins manufactory, a marble chimney, a crystal chandelier, antiques and portraits of ancestors. This vast room (50 square meters) is said to have been “built around” the beautiful Spanish carpet, which adorns the parquet. Plenty of wood will be provided if the guests wish to use one of the chimneys of the ground floor.

Dining Room

The Dining Room is very large and can seat up to twenty two guests when the table is extended. Its walls are covered with tapestries and yellow silk damask for a dramatic backdrop to the antiques and the collection of green and white vases brought back from China by the owners.

Less grand, but equally useful, guests will find on this floor, adjoining the formal dining room, a small kitchen with all the amenities.

New Kitchen

On the other side of the house, guests will find a brand new large kitchen with all the amenities one can dream of to cook like a chef (a large central island with a granite countertop, stainless appliances, 6 burner gas hob, …).

The new kitchen leads into a redecorated informal dining room-cum-library, perfect for a breakfast with a view over the garden or a light lunch.
